This was a book, more a graphic novel, published in 1978 by Brian W. Aldiss and Illustrated by Mike Wilks.
In 1982 while laid off from INCO, I found this book in the bargain bin (for $.50) at our local Woolworth’s store. When I got it home and was looking at it I thought it would make a great colouring book. I bought some magic markers (plus some more books) and began to colour it. The results were turning out really great so I let some others know about it, they went out and bought the books with some markers to do the same. As we did the work it became apparent that we each had an individual style and that it was going to take some time to finish. We thought that when we had completed it we would get together to have a celebration and an exhibition for ourselves. It never happened, but recently my brother Marc and I were interviewed by CBC Sudbury about the book. I thought I would include the scans of our work on this site, hopefully we will be able to get scans of some of the other books. You will see the differences between our interpretation and also the evolution of the work as we spent more time doing it.

Enjoy.
